The number of resolved COVID-19 cases make up 66 per cent of current cases in Waterloo Region.
On Saturday, Public Health reported a total of 1,074 cases within the region, with 707 of those cases resolved.
Public Health also reported no new COVID-19 related deaths, making this the third day in a row where the total is still at 112 cases.
However, eight new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by Public Health, including one new case of a resident with the virus at Forest Heights Revera.
One of the new cases confirmed was in a correctional officer at the Grand Valley Institution for Women.
The number of active outbreaks across the region remains at 13.
Since yesterday, over 490 more people were tested for COVID-19, bringing the total number of tests to 15,199.
