Elementary students with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board will not have a chance to change their mind with online or in-person learning next month.
The board has eliminated the November transition window based on feedback from stakeholders.
During the last window, 766 elementary students made the move over to online learning after the Thanksgiving weekend, resulting in the shifting of 29 teachers to the online school, St. Isidore.
As for secondary school students, Quadmester 2 will still move forward as planned. The board is still exploring options for Quadmester 3 and 4.
Overall, 17 per cent of the board's student population are learning online exclusively.
