Adopt Me: Tux would love a home for Easter (adopted)

He is looking for an active adult home with large dog experience, and no other pets

KitchenerToday, in partnership with the Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford Perth Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Tux is a sweet, young and active boy looking for a family to spoil him with love. He enjoys running around the yard, loves to play with toys and bonds quickly with his humans. For Easter, he would love nothing more than to find his forever home!

Tux is high energy, has a high prey drive and can be vocal. He is best suited for an active adult home with large dog experience, no other pets and a large wooden fenced backyard.

Tux acts like a puppy and often doesn’t realize how big he is so training with him is mandatory. He needs someone who has the time to help him stay active, both mentally and physically.

If you are interested in adopting Tux, please visit our website at to learn more about him and to fill out an application.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
